"I am so happy I found this gem when looking for a place to stay while visiting family in Lebanon, New Hampshire. The Shaker Farm Bed and Breakfast is rustic and cozy, beautifully located in Enfield, NH near Lake Mascoma. The rooms are clean and spacious – perfect for relaxing after of day of exploring the area. Joe and Cathy are welcoming, gracious hosts. Joe was quick to answer my inquiries prior to our arrival, which was much appreciated. Cathy’s breakfasts were delicious and plentiful! My husband and I enjoyed a wonderful weekend, and we can’t say enough about this lovely inn!"

"This 200 year old house is a quarter hour drive from Dartmouth. Nancy the owner lets out 3 spacious rooms. I’ve never slept better. Her breakfasts are fantastic. Very good value. She and her two dogs make you feel right at home."

"I love this B&B. The owners are a delight, the rooms clean and quaint. It is an authentic New England Farmhouse B&B. The food was most enjoyable and plentiful. The hostess goes out of her way to make sure everything is just right. All the food is fresh some from her own garden, which she takes delight in maintaining. If you are in the area I highly recommend staying at this typical New England B&B."

"My husband and I needed a place to stay last weekend because we didn't want to travel 5+ hours in one day for a family event in Vermont. We had the entire house to ourselves, which was very nice. The rooms are very nice and all have private bathrooms. The breakfasts were wonderful and extra care was taken so that I could adhere to my gluten-free diet, which was a plus since I ate salad for all other meals as there weren't many gluten-free options at the local restaurants. Some of the rooms have updated flat screen tvs, but the room we stayed in was lacking an HDMI wire so they picture wasn't in HD. Also, the rooms do not have locks, which I guess may be OK in NH, but that would've been an issue for me if there were others staying in the house since it was too cold to lock up my electronics in the car. Other than that, we loved our stay and look forward to coming back in the spring. If you visit, check out the Shaker Museum up the road, it is AMAZING and the curator, Mike, has a wealth of information on the history, etc. We were there for hours!!!"

"We stayed here for a getaway weekend. Joe and Cathy are excellent and gracious hosts.
We had lovely chats with them both, and Cathy filled us in on some local spots of interest we would have otherwise missed. Our breakfasts were yummy, and 'treats' were always available. The room we had in this 1800's farmhouse was spotless and comfortable. The house is tastefully decorated and an amazing amount of renovation has brought this home back to its roots while keeping up with modern day amenities. We will absolutely return!"

"Just down the road from the Shaker Museum, the Shaker Farm B&B is a classic New England farmhouse that has retained all its charm. Breakfasts are to die for! Would return anytime. (Warning: stairs to upper floors are steep & narrow, but if you don’t have a problem navigating the climb, the rooms on the 2nd & 3rd floors are well worth it)."

"We were pleased with our choice of lodging near Enfield, NH. Kathy and Joe were gracious hosts for our 2-night stay. The breakfasts were delicious and we enjoyed sitting on the back deck in the late afternoon on both days. Occasional rain didn't matter as the deck was partially covered by a cabana-style enclosure. Our room was comfortable, too. This location enabled us to travel a large driving loop on the full day of our visit."

"My sister and I stayed here in October for a long weekend of hiking and biking. Joe and Cathy were wonderful hosts! They were extremely friendly and social, giving us many tips for places to eat and things to do. Each day started with the smell of coffee wafting up through the vents to our room. Going downstairs for a cup of coffee always entailed a nice chat with Cathy or one of the other guests. Breakfasts around the big table consisted of great conversation and really wonderful food. I would highly recommend Shaker Farms."
